Mr Gay Boy Durban 2012

Durban's gay club The Lounge held it's annual Mr Gay Boy Pageant at the weekend. Well done to all the entrants and the winner and runner's up.

Durban ready for Saturday's Mr Gay Boy 2011

We had a lot of fun at the Guesthouse tonight in preparation for tomorrow's Mr Gay Boy 2011 @ The Lounge. The contestants mingled with the judges and were thrown questions to test their sense of humour, purpose in life and in the competition and generally help the judges gauge their personalities. The boys will also vote amongst themselves for the title Mr Personality.

You can see them all in action at The Lounge this Saturday 7 May from 10pm when the pageant gets off the ground.

Fun at The Lounge

The weekend at The Lounge saw the crowning of Mr Gay Boy 2010 (second from top in the photos), although he didn't want to wear the crown as it would mess with his hair. Congratulations Ben, the crowd were loving you.

Durban View Guesthouse have sponsored some cash prizes at the Mr Gay Boy event which takes place at our only gay bar, The Lounge, tonight at 9pm, 226 Mathews Meyiwa Rd, Morningside, just down the road from us.
