The Guesthouse is in the city of Durban on the slopes of the Berea with city skyline and sea views. Kloof is about 28kms to the west heading towards Pietermaritzburg and Johannesburg on the N3 highway.

Dear Dave and Llewellyn,

We just wish to thank you both for your kind hospitality at Durban View Gay Guesthouse. It was most enjoyable, a truly great guesthouse, with great sincere owners.
We especially liked your usual attention to detail such as the placement of the Jacuzzi which is on top of the house. We glad we were able to visit your guesthouse as we can now recommend it too, with first hand knowledge.

Regards

Johnny and Chris!!

Hello there boyz. Thanx for the pleasant stay at your guest house. I do wish there was a more flattering pic of me on there but I suppose blowing out a candle is not the most flattering thing hey. Take care and keep pushing on as your guest house is great.

Take care

Ciao

Peter

sounds like a good spot to have some fun. I'm a married 34 yr old Indian dude living in stuffy Centurion but have tons of 'men who prefer men' mates. I'd like a spot there at some point soon just to hang out with the guys. Is this as well as, for a lack of a better term, 'racially' tolerant guest house? I've travelled far and wide but unfortunately didn't have the pleasure to stay in Durban. I haven't really had any bad experiences elsewhere but i've 'heard' that Durban guesthouses can make you feel real uncomfortable and this comes from some of my mates that have stayed in Durban lodges.

cheers,

Hi there, I am American and was thinking of coming down to SA for a short holiday. I came across your blog while searching for places to stay. I was just wondering is that really South Africa? Where are the black people? I haven't seen any in your blog?

Dave and Llew said...

Yes this is South Africa.. you only have to come here to see the black people. Most of our guests are not but we do have from time to time as well as several mixed race couples, all of whom are welcomed to our part of Africa.
