Durban's new 2010 Stadium for the Soccer World up can be seen under construction in this photo I took from the adjacent Absa Rugby Stadium last week at the Tri-Nations Springboks vs All Blacks clash. The second picture is an artist's impression of the awesome new mega-building which will seat 80 000 spectators. The new stadium will be visible from the roof-top of our http://www.durbanview.co.za guesthouse and will be an exciting addition to Durban's skyline and world-class sports facilities.
Welcome to Gay Durban, our guesthouse and Durban event blog.. a place for gay dudes in Durban to publish events, happenings and more about life here, from 2010 to 2020, particularly for visitors to our part of gay South Africa on the sunny beach east coast.

Travel South Africa
Being in the hospitality industry and recommending tour destinations to our guests, we like to try some of the destinations and transport ourselves. Llewellyn and I recently jumped on a South African Airways Express turboprop plane to visit East London and really enjoyed the flight and great service onboard. SA airways Express is our national airline's domestic service to smaller destinations within the country, linking them to our inbound airports.
International visitors
Juan (left) and Miguel (right) from Brazil and New York respectively seen with Llewellyn ( Durban View Gay Guesthouse) last week in Durban. Jose' is working in Mocambique for a year and Miguel is about to re-locate to California. Good luck to both of you in your respective fields and thanks for including Durban and our glorious winter sunshine in your tours.
